Die Wohnung im Herzen von HH ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt um die Hansestadt zu erkunden. Der Check-In war dank Franks Code-System einfach und unkompliziert. Frank hat sich gleich danach telefonisch gemeldet und uns sehr sympathisch willkommen geheißen. Der Anruf kam unerwartet und hat uns gerade deshalb super gefreut. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und mit allem Wichtigen ausgestattet. Für uns steht fest: Beim nächsten Besuch in Hamburg würden wir hier gerne wieder unterkommen.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to book on short notice. Within a few hours, 3 of us were in Frank’s apartment and stayed for 2 nights. Frank was very helpful and the key exchange was easy. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We appreciated having a clothes washer. The location is fantastic and the listing details are accurate. We would recommend this apartment!

The location of the flat is perfect! It‘s right at the centre of the city so most of the attractions are within 10 minutes walking distance. There are lots of restaurants and shops on the doorstep. The flat is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Wifi is working pretty fast and the bed is really comfortable. Everything was fantastic and I would definitely like to rebook for another visit!

Frank ist sehr toller Gastgeber! Hat sich um alles gekümmert, hat tolle Tipps gegeben wo man essen könnte und wo man alles finden kann, man könnte ihn auch immer erreichen, wenn es Fragen gab. Ganz liebe und nette Person. Die Wohnung war auch super, sauber, gemütlich, gut eingerichtet, man könnte sich wie zuhause füllen. In der Küche gab’s auch alles was man für kochen braucht, sogar einen Standmixer. (Danke dir, Frank, ich konnte ganz gut meine Proteinshakes vorbereiten=) ) Die Lage ist auch perfekt, man kann alles ganz schnell zu Fuß erreichen, ob man ins Zentrum will oder zum Hafen. Die Supermärkte sind auch um die Ecke. Immer gerne komme ich wieder! Bis bald =)

Frank’s place was great! Collecting the key and getting into the apartment couldn’t have been easier. The apartment had everything I needed and more and felt very homely. The location was very handy for me and I especially enjoyed the proximity to a great little coffee shop. I will definitely try and book it again when I’m next in Hamburg for work.

Frank ist ein super Gastgeber und in allen Belangen vorbildlich. Das Apartment ist sehr zentral in Hamburg gelegen. Es sind nur wenige Minuten bis zur Binnenalster, der Innenstadt oder dem Michel. Mehrere Bäcker sind direkt in der nähe und zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben alle Wege bis zu den Landungsbrücken zu Fuß erledigt, da auch diese nicht weit weg sind. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, sogar einer Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine. Es war alles in einem super Zustand und extrem sauber. Auch der Checkin hat reibungslos funktioniert. Auch ein Parkticket war inklusive, sodass wir direkt vor der Tür parken konnten.

Nochmals vielen Dank an Frank. Die Wohnung war super, alles wie beschrieben und eine geniale Lage. Frank war sehr gut erreichbar und es hat alles super geklappt. Man kann von hier aus alles fussläufig erreichen, die City, den Hafen, das Schanzenviertel etc., der ideale Ausgangspunkt für sightseeing und shopping. Gute Gastro auch für Abends in direkter Nachbarschaft, was will man mehr. Ist definitiv auch für den nächsten HH Aufenthalt die erste Wahl wenn wir ein Plätzchen bekommen können. Diese Wohnung ist ein wahres Goldstück! Wir haben Frank zwar nicht kennen gelernt, allerdings bin ich mir sicher, er wäre sofort zur Stelle gewesen, hätten wir ihn benötigt. Haben wir aber nicht, da alles…wirklich alles super vorbereitet war! Die Wohnung ist blitzblank sauber, die Gegend angenehm ruhig, hungrig wird man höchstens, weil man sich nicht entscheiden kann, in welches der vielen Restaurants man gehen soll, die in der Nähe sind. Ich durfte auf der Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer nächtigen und ganz ehrlich, obwohl sie ein bisschen quietscht war das der angenehmste Schlaf den ich auf Reisen jemals hatte. Zur Messe sind es zu Fuß nur wenige Minuten. Also für Messebesucher/ -aussteller ist diese Wohnung optimal.

Wir – älteres Ehepaar – waren 4 Tage in Franks Wohnung und werden bei unserem nächsten Hamburg-Aufenthalt mit Sicherheit versuchen, wieder dort zu übernachten. Denn zum einen ist die Lage einfach super. Man braucht eigentlich weder Öffis noch Taxi, um an alle touristischen Orte zu gelangen. Und gleich um die Ecke gibt es nette Frühstückslokale, gute Restaurants, kleine originelle Lädchen, 2 x die Woche einen Wochenmarkt – eben das Gängeviertel, also nicht nur „Beton und Glas“, sondern auch ein recht sympathisches und historisch interessantes Quartier. Auf die Beschreibung der Wohnung kann man sich verlassen. Sie ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll möbliert, ruhig, hinter den zimmerbreiten Sprossenfenstern im Wohn- und Schlafzimmer geht der Blick ins Grüne. Es ist alles da, was man braucht (selbst das, was wir nicht gebraucht haben, z.B. 2 Fernseher, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und eine so noch nirgends vorgefundene Menge an Drogerie- bzw. Toiletten-Artikeln). Frank haben wir zwar nicht persönlich kennengelernt. Aber die Kommunikation im Vorfeld verlief superschnell und das Einchecken war völlig problemlos. Eine der besten Airbnb-Erfahrungen, die wir hatten. Mit einem Wort: 5 Sterne!

Frank ist ein toller Gastgeber und wir haben uns direkt wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist schön, sauber und in einer top Lage. Wir haben alles sehenswertes sogar zu Fuß erlaufen. Alles in allem hatten wir ein super schönes langes Wochenende in HH und in Franks zauberhaften Wohnung.

A great experience – a really lovely flat – clean, well thought out and warm and well equipped. The location is very handy – a very quick walk to the nearest metro (connecting directly to the airport) and easy walking through the city centre as well. The flat is in a nice 1930s block and is quiet and there is no traffic outside and there are a good range of shops, a bakery and restaurants 2 minutes walk away. Frank was very helpful throughout and provided easy to use info on getting to the flat as well as local eateries and supermarkets. Access is easy and a spare set of keys is a nice touch. Thanks for a great weekend. Full marks!

Frank is an impeccable host. The apartment is well-designed and well-stocked, and Frank is completely adept at helping check in/out and provide fast and comprehensive information about the apartment, the neighborhood, trains, etc. while remaining respectful and at a distance if you want privacy. My travel partner and I had a great, homey stay in a very quiet part of the city only a walk away from really happening zones of the city (St. Pauli, Reeperbahn, Karolinenviertel). Hamburg was an awesome time for it.

Frank’s apartment is very clean and homely. The rooms are equipped with all necessary facilities and are tastefully decorated and have a very pleasant air. The location is superb, being in walking distance to most of Hamburg’s main attractions. Frank was kind enough to get me a parking permit so I could park my car in an area close to the apartment. Needless to say Frank’s place will be my first choice next time I go to Hamburg!

Frank is the nicest person you can dream of! So friendly, helpful, and kind! I travel a lot for my job and I can say that he is the best host I’ve ever had. The flat is perfectly located (nice restaurants, shops, supermarkets, park for children, etc…), right in the city center and yet very quiet. It is very well furnished and comfortable. Frank ’s apartment is very well central located. It’s in a quite neighborhood and close to everything, probably the best location in the city for staying. The apartment is very clean, neat and big enough for a small group of people, like 4 of us. Frank is a super landlord who was really quick and helpful. he location of the apartment is absolutely excellent. It is in easy walking distance to the centre, very nice, clean and it was really comfortable for the 3 of us. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are excellent! And special thanks to Frank for helping us solve the problem with our stuff – we arrived too early for check-in, But Frank provided us with space where to leave our suitcases. It was very convenient. And the check-in and check-out was very simple, thanks to easy and illustrated instructions. I’d recommend this place to anyone going to Hamburg!
